Process
How we work.
Diagnose
Compression and leak-down tests on intake; visual on lower end if symptoms warrant. You get a written condition report with photos before we touch anything else.
Teardown
Engine out, fully disassembled. We document every component and surface so reassembly is exact. Parts list goes to you for approval before ordering.
Machine work
Crankshaft, cylinders, and head work in-house. Bores honed or sleeved as needed; valve seats cut on the bench. Tolerances measured at every step.
Reassemble & test
Reassembled to OEM spec or above. Engine runs on the fixture before it goes back in the hull. We confirm RPM, oil pressure, and temp curves before you pick up.
Recent work
Recent engine rebuild work.
Every rebuild is photographed at teardown and after final bench run. These are a few recent jobs — yours will be documented the same way.

Engine Rebuilds
2018 Sea-Doo RXT-X 300 — full rebuild
Came in with low compression on cylinder 2. Full teardown, machine work in-house, ran on bench for 90 minutes before pickup.

Engine Rebuilds
2021 Sea-Doo GTX 170 — top-end service
High-hour engine with worn piston rings and a bent rod. New rings, bearings, and seals — compression back to spec, oil consumption gone.
All work documented with before-and-after photos. This is a small selection.
FAQ
Common questions.
How long does a Sea-Doo engine rebuild take?
Most rebuilds are done in 2–3 weeks once parts are in hand. Parts availability is the variable — common 4-TEC and Rotax parts ship fast; older 2-stroke top-ends can take longer.
Do you work on 2-stroke and 4-stroke Sea-Doo engines?
Yes. We work on Rotax 2-stroke (587, 657, 717, 787, 951) and the 4-TEC family (130, 155, 215, 255, 260, 300). ETEC outboards as well.
Will you provide a written estimate before starting?
Always. After diagnosis you receive a written quote with parts and labor itemized. We don't start work until you approve it.
Do you keep records for warranty purposes?
Yes. Every rebuild is documented with serial numbers, parts used, and bench-test results. Useful for warranty claims, resale, and insurance.
